GUI System to Support Cardiology Examination Based on Explainable Regression CNN for Estimating Pulmonary Artery Wedge Pressure

چکیده
In this article, a GUI system is proposed to support clinical cardiology examinations. The estimates “pulmonary artery wedge pressure” based on patients' chest radiographs using an explainable regression-based convolutional neural network. was validated by performing effectiveness survey with 23 physicians medical licenses. results indicated that many considered the be effective.

Estimating mean pulmonary artery pressure from systolic pressure: a caveat?
I thank Drs. Hooper and Wilson for their comments on my article.1 I concur completely with Dr. Hooper’s sentiments. Dr. Wilson links conflicts that arise through a physician’s relationship with industry and a physician’s scientific interest in a topic (so-called academic conflict of interest). These issues have been conflated recently by physicians who have financial conflicts. The two are comp...
متن کاملSystem identification based on Support Kernels Regression
This paper deals with the identification of nonlinear systems using multi-kernel approach. In this context, we have improved the Support Vector Regression (SVR) method in order to identify nonlinear complex system. Our idea consists in dividing the regressor vector in several blocks, and, for each one a kernel function is used. This blockwise SVR approach is called Support Kernel Regression (SK...
متن کاملIncreased pulmonary venous resistance contributes to increased pulmonary artery diastolic-pulmonary wedge pressure gradient in acute respiratory distress syndrome.
BACKGROUND Pulmonary artery diastolic (PAD)-pulmonary wedge pressure (PWP) gradient has been shown to be increased in sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Because pulmonary venous vasoconstriction induced by endotoxemia in sepsis or postcapillary leukocyte aggregation in ARDS or both can increase pulmonary venous resistance (Rpv), it is possible that the elevated Rpv increases...
متن کاملThe relationship between pulmonary artery wedge pressure and left atrial pressure in man.
In 17 patients with atrial septal defect, in 12 patients with mitral stenosis and in four patients with unilateral lung tumor but without evidence of mitral valve disease, a similarity in pressure pulse contours in the left atrium and pulmonary artery wedge position was obtained at cardiac catheterization. It is concluded that the pulmonary artery wedge pressure pulse is a reasonably accurate r...
